I had fun finding quotes on pendant lighting – who even knew there WERE quotes to be found!

Ohhh, I don’t know. I see a lot of style and personality here, and a statement to boot. Maybe not so much illumination, though.

I think there’s maybe a little more personality than there is style!

One has to wonder about what somebody was illuminating in such a spot. People have their own quirky mysteries … more than ‘pops of personality’ …

It really does seem to be an odd place for a light fixture, but I guess there was a good reason for it, at the time!

A pop of personality for sure. It would be spooky when turned on at night, swinging in the wind. All kinds of ghostly shadow play.

The place was a little spooky in the daytime – it’s the place where a man stopped for a chat, and told me this used to be an after-hours club. Then came back around in a few minutes to see if I wanted to “buy anything.” Which seemed to imply “illegal” to me.

I remember that photo. Having met you I think it quite extraordinary that he would think you a likely sale for something illegal. But then I suppose you can never tell. Maybe he just wanted to sell you the whole place.

Maybe women of a “certain age” purchase more illegal substances than we realize?

Maybe. I don’t even know who to ask though.
