My purpose on a recent road trip was to look at painted churches in the area around Schulenberg, Texas, but then I got distracted by a little Methodist church…

      No, I actually didn’t even think about it. But the very next church I visited after this one had a sign asking people to NOT ring the bell, which of course made me want to ring it, AND go back and ring this one, too!
