Nice shot. See why one might be in a hurry to get back to the front of the building.

Have you ever heard the Bruce Springsteen song called “Darkness at the Edge of Town”? As an artist he does “bleak” really well. You do too. Some stories just have to be told…

True story: right now I am listening to “Springsteen on Broadway” (loud, too, because I am working from home today).
So, yes, I am familiar with “Darkness at the Edge of Town” and agree that he does bleak very, very well. Thank you for comparing my work to his!

My wife and I were very fortunate to get tickets to actually see him on Broadway. He really is that good.

I watched it on Netflix the day it was released. And the next day, too. And downloaded the soundtrack. I wish I’d had the opportunity to see the show in person. (Playing right now: “Tougher Than The Rest.”)

Read his autobiography, if you haven’t already.

I have not read it, but have just down downloaded it. Thanks for mentioning it.

Much of the Broadway performance was taken from the book—but obviously the book has much more to tell. Anyone who writes songs like his must be a good writer. And he is.

There’s not many things better than a well-written book, and I look forward to reading this one.

Thanks! The state of the pool did sort of sum up the whole place, now that you mention it.
