I agree. Great angle and capture MGH. Amazing how you got the clouds, and ribbon of light , and foreground to cooperate.

The Photography Gods were very good to me that day!

Awesome photo! I stop almost every time and make a picture of the turbines we drive through Roscoe/Sweetwater.

Thanks, Pody! Have you ever been on the road between Sweetwater and Wingate? There’s a ridge there that’s covered in turbines, and they are very close to the road, so it’s a good place to get photos. One of these days, I’d like to get down there and take some long exposure shots at night….

Yes, I would’ve done the same. Compelling image. It won’t let me click away.

This scene took my breath away, and I could hardly believe what I was seeing. One other time I saw a train of blades, but it was not nearly as spectacular as this one; for example, the scene was cluttered with some hills and a mountain and a curve!

I love the slow, dignified sweep of wind turbines.

I do, too. And I don’t even mind that particular whooshing sound they make.

I HAD to stop! I highway patrolman slowed down to see if I needed help – guess he’s not used to photographers and our odd ways!
