meanwhile at the beer monster

My friend’s adorable daughters have renamed this place the Beer Monster; the name is based on a mural by the front door.

But no matter what you call it, this is an excellent spot for some craft beer. And you are very likely to run into someone you know and/or spot a food truck with something delicious to eat. And the days are (finally) getting cooler.

You know what to do with this information.

kicked the habit

Sometimes you just need to shed the old things that aren’t working for you any more, and move on with a fresh outlook to match your fresh new skin.

I am led to believe that “normal” people would just drive right by this place and not even stop.

I’m glad I do not qualify as “normal.”

(But to be fair, normal people make a three hour trip in, you know, three hours. If you know what I mean.)

museum, back room

I mean, sure – the museum did have some very good exhibits the other day.

But it also had a door that was left open and a photographer who will always try to see the behind-the-scene scenes.

I came home the other night and the evening light was right there on those clothespins. I hurried inside to get the camera…

Also, if I’m being honest, I’d never paid the tiniest bit of attention to that clothesline before. I have a tattoo on my wrist that says, “Take time to see.” yet I failed (repeatedly) to take my own damn advice. Seriously. This is embarrassing.
