I thought what I wanted was for the curtains to be in focus.
The camera thought what it wanted was for the paint drips and dirt on the window to be in focus.
Turns out the camera was right. Sometimes that happens.

I drove all the way from Lubbock to Hobbs so I could take this photo.
(I also ate some delicious posole for lunch and did a little shopping. Oh, I looked at the annular eclipse.)

I did used to drive a Honda, but as far as I can recall, I never let it go away on vacation by itself. Was that a thing that I missed? Should I feel bad about it now?
