Dead end, probably

If you’re like me, you’re probably wishing that those smokestacks lined up exactly over ALL of the trash dumpsters, instead of just two of them…

None of the streets here go anywhere in particular – the one between the building and dumpsters ends at some railroad tracks a block away, and the other one abuts a freeway. But that’s OK – development (or developers) hasn’t located this part of town…

  1. The streets that don’t go anywhere often provide the best journeys.

  2. Yep, you’re right….that third dumpster feels like a bit of a toothache not being lined up….but a great picture anyway…..that could even be a great focal – for an ‘uneven’ prompt!

    • Thanks, Tammi! I appreciate your taking the time to comment. I often profess to not being a fan of symmetry, but then this smokestack thing sort of bugged me, so I must be more a fan of it than I want to think! You’re right about this being a good shot for an “uneven” prompt – now if I can just remember what a great idea you had if the prompt should ever show up!

  3. OK, you got me! I was thinking that if you used a wider lens and moved in closer you could have lined them all up. It’s a sickness! Nice shot and a GOTCHA all in one.
