Reflecting Pool, with leaves
The day was much, much more dreary than I’d hoped it would be – I had some photographer friends in town for a show and of course we wanted to get out and shoot.
The weather appeared to be uncooperative. Until I saw this. Then it seemed like the weather was smarter than I was.

Thanks. I don’t have much practice shooting in cloudy conditions, so my results are sort of…mixed. I was happy to be able to get a couple of OK shots that day!

Thanks, Mark. I’ve become fascinated with that little building. I hear that it used to be a recording studio, and that the studio itself is in the basement.

Well, it DID have a few things going for it. For example, dry concrete isn’t nearly as reflective as that puddle was!
