Kind of like a mural

The view from my hotel room in Chicago offered a view of the office building across the street; it was like a mural, only one that changed from minute to minute. If my trip had been a couple of days longer, I would have started to figure out whose schedule demanded late hours at the office.

Airport Bar

Naturally, a flight from Omaha, Nebraska, to Lubbock, Texas, would have a layover in Nevada*. I guess.

And, also naturally, the last leg of the flight was delayed by a few hours**, giving me plenty of time to find a chair opposite a bar and take a few photos. I wan’t bored.

**Because the inbound flight hit a bird and the plane required maintenance. No word on the bird.

80% off really draws them in

Sears was only open two more days after this. Those deep discounts meant the store was more crowded than it had been in recent memory.
