Yes, there was a vacancy at this place. Mostly because it was out of business.

Underwear and one shoe

It makes me sad to see business that haven’t made it, especially in towns that are obviously struggling.

But on the other hand, I sure do like it when they’ve closed up shop without cleaning out their inventories. Just look at the stuff – lots of TVs and underwear, and that one dusty shoe.

A pile of blinds on the floor, in the shadow of the jalousie window from yesterday.

Jalousie

The big plate glass windows were on the ground, in millions of pieces. But somehow, these jalousie windows were still intact. I guess they lack the inherent appeal of someone looking to have a dramatic second throwing a rock through a window.
