Moon, setting
Here’s another photo from our friends Darryl Birkenfeld and Joann Starr’s place, Casa La Entereza, with the summer solstice moon high in the morning sky.

I’ll let him know. He doesn’t take many photos, but is the family videographer….

I asked one of the residents to give me a brief rundown, but haven’t heard back. So I’ll guess there are prairie dogs (that’s actually not a guess – they’re everywhere), skunks, foxes, deer, snakes, barn swallows, owls, misc other birds, plus frogs and salamanders in wet years. If I hear back, I’ll give up and updated – and correct! – list.
