My in-laws used to live very close to this place, but in all our trips there we’d never stopped in at the church. I took advantage of proximity while on the Patient Spouse’s recent Nostalgia Tour 2019, and was finally able to see the interior. It was lovely.

Yes it is so lovely. The way the light ranges from bright to subtle whispers is fascinating.

Nice capture of the gentle light. You were inside a church, I was outside one the other day. I try to avoid being struck by lightning. Well, it was a church, now a museum so I guess it’d be safe to go inside.

Yes, I think that you’re (maybe?) safe inside a church that’s now a museum. But just to be safe, only go inside on cloudless days.

I don’t like them, either. Around here, cloudless skies are the norm. And while that’s good for people (like us!) who are worried about the whole struck-by-lightning deal, it makes photos sort of boring…
