Half-stopped
And here, in a single image, you can see the entirety of downtown Rochelle, Texas. And a little more than half of a stop sign. It was my kind of place.

You half stopped at the Stop to f-stop — which, from the look of it, was f/16 and about 24mm.

Add a bit of focal length and open up a stop — pretty much the same DOF.
