Tree and Church Battle It Out
The tree got bigger, maybe, than anyone anticipated. Now it’s so close to the building that the roots are pushing into the wall, gradually ripping off the stucco. It’s a battle – who’ll win?
Hint: the church is vacant with a for sale sign in front.

My money would be on the tree. But if the new owners aren’t huggers then the tree won’t stand a chance.

I can’t image who’d want to purchase an out-of-business church in the middle of cotton fields, so maybe that gives the tree a slight advantage.

I should figure out how to to a time-lapse of it – I’d probably only need to take 3-4 photos a year to capture what’s happening.
