all in all it’s just another brick

I know: it’s vandalism. And I’m supposed to not be in favor of it.

But damn…those colors…those lines…that shading.

as wine, the strongest heads

There are two hats hanging on a hook in the garage. To be honest, I am afraid of wearing either one of them: I think there are spiders or maybe these weird almost-clear geckos in them. And who even knows what else might be in there that I would prefer not to have on my head.

But I didn’t encounter anything dangerous when I made this photo.

one stitch holds it all

I have four or five vintage quilts; I don’t know the provenance of any of them, other than to say they are soft and old and lovely.

I like to think that this one stitch is the one holding the entire quilt together.

steakhouse (in the rain)

I just want to say that if you find yourself in Muleshoe, Texas, and you need a meal, definitely head over to Old Fashioned BBQ and Grill. I am sure the food’s good whether or not it’s raining when you get there…

christmas (lights) in july

First of all, if you see cloth-covered electrical wires on home decor, it’s probably because it’s a real design-y lamp. If you see cloth-covered electrical wires on an abandoned building, it probably because at the place is old AF and was/is a fire hazard.

But at least the switch was off.

Secondly, how about those Christmas lights, which look for all the world like someone painted them?
