Saw/blade
I am not sure why blades on wind turbines would need to be replaced. I am not sure why, when they are replaced*, they’re stacked up on the outskirts of Levelland. I am not sure how long they’ll be here, or where they’ll go next.
But I am sure of this: they are huge, even when they’ve been sawed into pieces.

Wind/Farm
Along this ridge, south of Sweetwater, there are literally too many wind turbines to count.
(See those crooked white lines that look like giant sutures? Turbines. See what I mean?)

Crop Circles
I won’t lie: I took a nap on the flight from Dallas to Lubbock the other. When I woke up, I saw this! It’s the town of Ralls, some wind turbines, and a lot of circles made by center-pivot irrigation systems. And people think there’s nothing to see on the Plains!
