Those vertical columns of cloud between layers are intriguing. Almost like airborne tornadoes.

I think they might be contrails, but I like the idea of airborne tornadoes a lot better.

We had a drought that lasted for a few years and there were no clouds at all, leading to a lot of boring photos.
