Maybe window screens from an age before central air conditioning?

I think you’re right. I guess someone thought AC was a fad and they’d better keep the screens, just in case?

We’ve got a stack in the basement, and no AC, but I’d have to get out the ladder to put them on the outside! Easier to use the little insert ones that go in from inside 😉

I thought this place had a few windows and doors hanging out but that’s nothing compared to your find here. That must be pretty easy to inventory they are so neatly stacked.
Yeah, what Sue said…I wouldn’t go in there if I was you. Times are weird now but I guess you don’t have to worry about social distancing where you go.

Maybe there’s a methodical hoarder in that little town, although those two words don’t really make much sense together.
And, yes, West Texas is a pretty easy place to socially distance, since that’s kind of the way we are anyway.

I think there are a couple of them. While not as remote as West Texas, there are more than a few broken down old houses full of stuff that can be seen from the road. It’s hard to tell whether the stuff is the only occupant.
