That day was windy – even by West Texas standards! That wind was a beast and almost made it hard to think going out to photograph things was a bad idea.
But this sort of made me rethink how bad that wind really was: after all, a calm day wouldn’t have given me this gift, would it?

I looked at that fence as I drove by and thought “well – that would make a good photo” and then nearly talked myself out of turning around to take it!

Your color work is just as impressive as your black and white work. I have always been a believer that if you want to make great colors photographs, the you first need to learn black and white. And you prove this here.

One of my photographic goals for this year is to shoot more color images – the color seems to be calling which means I have to listen, right?
