That doesn’t depict the side to side smacking of the wind and the not knowing which direction it’s coming from next. And then there’s the random tumbleweeds that bounce by and you hope don’t get hung up. And the feeling of your vehicle being sanded down a layer.
I drove a 24 foot motorhome towing a Jeep from Big Spring almost to Monahans through one last January. I needed a stiff drink and a good rest after that one.
