I was in Colorado, sure. But the only forest that I saw was those wheelchair poles (But the clouds were nice.)

Naturally, a flight from Omaha, Nebraska, to Lubbock, Texas, would have a layover in Nevada*. I guess.
And, also naturally, the last leg of the flight was delayed by a few hours**, giving me plenty of time to find a chair opposite a bar and take a few photos. I wan’t bored.

**Because the inbound flight hit a bird and the plane required maintenance. No word on the bird.
