This building used to be the county jail. Before too much longer, it’ll be the admin office for the county sheriff, a change that seems symmetrical in a way.

About this time last year, I got to go inside for a look around. It looked like this, which is probably a lot more dramatic than it looks now!

Since I got that new knee the other day, I still can’t drive. So my shooting’s been a bit curtailed.

My Patient Spouse is an architect, and the other afternoon he drove me around while he checked out a couple of his projects that are under construction. This is part of an expansion for the local Meals on Wheels program.

The day was much, much more dreary than I’d hoped it would be – I had some photographer friends in town for a show and of course we wanted to get out and shoot.

The weather appeared to be uncooperative. Until I saw this. Then it seemed like the weather was smarter than I was.
