Hose

I went around behind the cemetery’s statues, as I do, because that’s where I get to find things like this water hose coiled on the ground.

the X tree

This Xed out tree will probably be cut down by the next time I’m out at the cemetery. A lot of those old cemetery elm trees have died, and the scrawny replacement trees don’t really seem up to the task of making the grounds shady.

Where have all the (funeral) flowers gone?

In case you were wondering what happens to funeral flowers later, after the funeral’s over, I can tell you that I found a dumpster full of them in the back part of a local cemetery. And as I composed the shot, I caught a whiff of the sticky sweet smell that’s distinct to dying blossoms.

Mange

And here’s this thing out at the cemetery. It’s not, probably, a head stone. But other than that extremely valuable tip, I’ve got nothing other than to point out that the paint was peeling nicely off the metal bits.
