does fashion need to be painful?

 

I sort of see the attraction to a jacket with spikes in the sleeves – it might help discourage people in the grocery store checkout line from standing too close. But since COVID and all, that’s not nearly the problem that I seem to remember.

Otherwise, I’m not sure I get it. Figuratively. Or, you know, literally.

I love to visit downtowns on Sunday mornings. There’s something about the empty streets and closed businesses that I find interesting. And sometimes you get to spot a KitchenAid mixer RIGHT THERE, which automatically makes for a good downtown visit.
