Walgreen Screen

I am sure that by now you know how much I like making photos inside parking garages. Here’s one made from a parking garage, just for a little change of pace. And also because I like how the circles in the screen make the Walgreen’s letters seem to bounce up and down.

I guess the only thing I like better than a parking garage is a parking garage at night…

Light Wedge

I just don’t think you can beat a nighttime view of a parking garage, with all that light bouncing around and making those cool wedge shapes.

One Dozen

So, let’s just take a minute to look at those twelve things there on the end of that column. And notice how the things on the left are (mostly) lined up with the markings on the concrete? Now, look at the other six things.

The Rhythm of the Space

Remember this old place from three years ago?

This is what the outside looks like now – it’s (finally!) under renovation and all the “decorative” metal siding’s been stripped off, and you can see that it used to be white, and turquoise. Well, YOU can’t see that, since this is a black and white image, but I saw it.

That’s neither here nor there. What I really like about this is the way the entire frame devolves into about a million rectangles.
