Here’s another view of the hurricane-damaged gas station from yesterday’s post.
At this point, almost two years later, it’s hard to imagine this place will ever be repaired.

I could get very snarky about certain powers that be. But I won’t.

Oh, I know. But the thing is, no matter how snarky we want to be about the PTB, this was some local resident’s livelihood, and maybe s/he had an employee or two, and now those jobs are gone, and the purchasing power they represent, and the taxes that aren’t going to the town any more, and on and on.
