Inside Outhouse
So, maybe people give me That Look when I take my camera with me to a restroom. And maybe those same people would never even notice how lovely the inside of this restroom was. That’s on them, and I’ll keep taking my camera with me.
But – and you’ll just have to trust me on this – if there are other people in the restroom, I won’t take a picture. Because that’s just weird.

I’m always surprised by how empty most public restrooms are!

Me, too. It’s to the point where I feel indignant if I have to share the space with someone! That’s not at all selfish is it?

And its a bit embarrassing when I realize how many photos I’ve taken over the past month 🙂 Europe was an embarrassment of riches in that regard!

You outed the outhouse so now the outhouse is inside out. Pretty clean though, I must say.

Well, that was quite a sentence! It was pretty clean – everything we saw in Minnesota was tidy. I think the state motto is “We’re fastidious.”

A year or so ago I spent some time with a new photography friend; we stopped for dinner at a sort of shady place and on his return from the restroom he said, “You’ll want to take your camera.” I knew we’d be friends forever.
