You’d be surprised (maybe) at how much traffic noise a simple fountain can cancel. This place was right on the corner of two busy streets and the water falling from that ledge into a basin make it all just go away. Plus, what an excellent way to reuse shipping containers! (Now I want one of these in my front yard to cancel out sounds of the motorcycle people across the street who seem to get home about 2:00 every morning…)

Great story telling image, Melinda. I know what you mean about the 2am thing …

Thank you, Frank.
I am not a motorcycle person, so maybe it IS necessary to let them run for 5 or 10 minutes after you get home?

It isn’t necessary for the motorcycle. But it does seem to be necessary for the motorcycle owner.

Oh, absolutely. Also, there seems to be a need to start the motorcycles five or ten minutes ahead of the actual departure time…
