Restrooms: a diptych

While I was at the Blue Whale, I did peek inside the restrooms. Of course I did. And I made photos. And then I made a diptych.

Do we need to talk about that double-toilet situation in the women’s room?

Blue Whale

I almost forgot to stop by to see the Blue Whale on my recent Oklahoma adventure. Fortunately I was able to make a quick turn and get there before I lost the light. Because no trip to Catoosa is complete without seeing the whale.

Shamrock Slaughter

I don’t know what I expected to see in Shamrock. But it wasn’t this.

The Grotto

An Oklahoman of my acquaintance tipped me off about this grotto in the cemetery in Canute.  The door was locked, but as you may have noticed I often shoot through glass. And that’s what I did. There’s just no stopping me.

Bowling alley (out of business)

It was almost too good to be true: an out of business bowling alley with front windows that my camera and I could look through. And as the best possible bonus, there were those three bowling balls on the checkered floor, looking for all the world like some kind of abandoned game.
