sun/shade

This guy? He was the smartest person on the whole First Friday Art Trail. It was hot – really hot, like 103° – and he had the foresight to bring his own shade structure with him.

Kudos, Umbrella Guy!

Also, check out the dude in the hoodie. I hope he was warm enough.

those eyes

This is the fabulous Miss Hannah Harvey, who rarely misses an opportunity to pose for a camera.

She’s smart and hilarious and a smart-ass and kind and loves big. And also: look at those blue eyes.*

* Her blue eyes are the reason this photo is in color. In case you wondered.

chad

This is Chad. He’s a big deal in the local arts scene. And here he is at First Friday the other night, working on a new metal sculpture.

When he’s not busy making stuff, he’s also the Executive Director at Charles Adams Studio Project (CASP), which is a key part of the support that local artists and arts lovers enjoy.

the finest hat

I saw this well-dressed person at the art trail the other night; they were in line at a food truck and I sure didn’t want to delay their dinner by getting a photograph.

Then, a half-hour or so later – there they were again. And this time, the background was a perfect match for the excellent outfit.

And you know what happened next.

Please do not disrespect

Have you noticed what’s been going on here on the blog? How more and more often people are showing up in the images?

I can’t explain it. And I’m sorry if it’s leaving you confused. It’s leaving me a bit discombobulated, too.
