dance party

How much fun were these dancers having?

They were having all the fun possible to have.

a tender gesture

Such a sweet and innocent gesture, and it made me have all the feelings. All of them.

parade dancers

Oh, and besides street photography creeping into my work, there’s also color.

And there’s really no better place to practice color photography than at a Pride parade…

family portrait

My fantastic traveling companion and I went on a bit of an accidental hike – it started out sort of as a “where does this path go?” situation and ended up with our walking across a bog or two and then along a small river. The normal people who were out that day took the normal trail, which is OK if that’s the sort of thing  you’re into.

Anyway, over there on the normal-people trail, I spotted this happy family trying to get the baby to look at the camera.

You may recall that for a really long time, I shot only in black and white. That was my thing. There was (from what I could tell) no reason to even think about doing anything else.

But this right here? With all the color?

Maybe I’m changing my mind…
