**You can text the librarian if you want in, and they will “come right over”, according to the sign taped to the door. Also, they don’t reply to texts from unknown numbers.

anniversary: 54 years
Exactly 54 years before the day I made this photos of storm clouds over north Lubbock, a deadly tornado struck almost this same part of town.
People who lived here then still refer to it simply as “May 11” and the rest is understood.
