I guess at some point this was a thriving business out on Route 66/Interstate 40. Those days were some distance in the past, however.

at the fold

I know this building doesn’t *really* have a fold in it. I know it used to have big plate glass windows that met at the thin frame in the corner. But now that the glass is gone, it sort of felt like a fold when I was standing inside of it looking out.

mail delivery

When I stood in the middle of a road to get this shot, I knew I’d be submitting it to the big annual High + Dry show here in Lubbock.

I did submit it. And I didn’t get in. (I only mention it in case you were planning a trip to Lubbock to see it in person.)
