The only sound was a HUGE jackrabbit who’d been napping in the weeds – he woke up and took off. It startled me.

That is a great photo! The chicken wire at the top adds more than one would think. And being black and white, made me zoom in and check the detail.

Yes, I was happy to find it. I like to shoot abandoned baseball fields and municipal swimming pools that aren’t in operation any longer. That’s sort of a weird niche, but…
