Three Crosses
My geography is a lot of horizontal lines – plowed fields, center-pivot irrigation systems, pipe-rail fences, the horizon itself. And on a good photography day three crosses and the clouds add in some other shapes and keep it all interesting and in balance.

Thank you, Frank. This one is a rare case of a photo that started out in color (almost everything I shoot is on a Leica Monochrom), but I knew what it wanted to look like – and I am happy to say the b+w transformation turned out as I’d imagined it.
