bridge traffic – Michigan Avenue
I had some time the other day when I was in Chicago and was able to meet up with an Instagram photographer that I follow; I’ve always been drawn to his b+w street photography and we’ve had some good IG conversations.
He showed me some of his favorite late-afternoon spots for street photography, places where the light bounced around nicely to illuminate the streets and the pedestrians in delightful, surprising, and perfect ways. He taught me a lot; additionally, it was just delightful to finally get to meet in person.
I’ve said it before and I’ll bet I’ll say it again – making personal connections via online photography platforms is a completely unexpected benefit of this whole photo deal I’ve gotten myself into.
