passing airport time, #2
Goodness – where did the middle of that person go? It feels like seeing the inside of a magic trick.
(In addition to reading a book* while I waited for my flight, I also made a few photos. That first thing might surprise you, but the second one won’t. I’m pretty sure.)

*I read Three by Valérie Perrin, which met my criteria of being long – 550 pages – and being a paperback. I bought it at Magic City Books in Tulsa, which is an awesome bookstore that you ought to visit.

When I’m traveling, I can happily spend airport time making photos. And, also, I like to create stories about the people I see – I’m not stalker-y or anything; I just make a few quick assumptions about them and about where they’re going and why they need to be there today. And this woman? I only saw half of her, but am pretty sure that she was only half-hearted about making that particular trip…

Loading Zone (but no one to load)
I’ll be the very first to admit that the Lubbock airport isn’t the busiest airport I’ve ever been to. It is the busiest airport in all of Lubbock County, though, so there’s that.
But I digress.
During the Time of Virus and No Traveling, the passenger loading zone had very little to do.
