If I looked one way from my hotel room balcony, I could see the Coronado Bridge and (if I squinted), I could make out the iconic towers at the Hotel Del Coronado. And looking the other way gave me this nice urban scene.
That balcony was just about the best part of the trip.

I watched this guy for a while – he was busy painting the stripes on the street and parking lot along North Harbor Drive. I imagine that he was getting ready for summer tourist season. Finally.
