proud to be there

Maybe I’ve mentioned (endlessly) my new-found love of street photography?

My photographer friend and I happened to be in Santa Fe the other weekend and saw the Pride parade and other activities.

Look at all those smiling faces! What an event: we are so glad we went.

spring snowstorm (impression)

None of my group anticipated that we’d see a snowstorm on our trip – it was April, after all.

However: we saw the kind of snow that Texans usually just dream about – fluffy, big flakes. We walked about a quarter of a mile back to our hotel as the snow fell; we were wet and cold when we got there, but none of us minded it a bit.

telephone jesus

Is Jesus always on this telephone pole (and another Jesus on the next pole, too)? Or was it because I was there on Easter weekend?

Obviously I need to go back and verify. Because research is important.

cloud/line

Sometimes things just line up the right way. Sometimes that’s just a saying, but also: it can be literal.

gravel

Say you and your friend are out for the day, photographing all the cool things you can find.

And say that it’s nearing the end of the day and you’re both getting tired and ready to be home and it’s getting easier and easier to talk yourselves out of stopping.

And, then, say you pass by the abandoned gravel place in a tiny town…
