The goal was unreachable

It sprouted up like a weed and we are still waiting for the hoop, net, and field to appear. Oh, and also a basketball and some players.

This scene has made a previous appearance on the blog, back in 2014. Things change, unless they don’t.

Shrine, after the virus

I have a bit of a fascination with this shrine. I stop in from time to time to see if there’s anything new worth noting. (You may recall it from this post.) When I dropped in last month, it all looked the same as before, only with the addition of that package of sanitizing wipes.

Outside of Out Field

Hidden Entry

I always thought this place had been the town’s hospital, but I am relying solely on my memory for this “fact.” But even it was something else, it still has an ivy-encrusted front door that turned out to be remarkably difficult to photograph.

Inexplicable Seating

I am not sure why it once seemed like a good idea to place concrete benches along the town’s main drag. Maybe in simpler times, breathing the exhaust of passing cars and staring at the pavement was a legit thing to do if you had a bit of spare time?
