toward the light

By now you are certainly aware that I do not mind photographing through store windows. For some reason I am fascinated by what things look like when no one’s around.

Also: those light fixtures are like the ones I had in my childhood bedroom.

I know. I know that taking a picture of some wind-blown trash that’s gotten tangled up in a barbed wire fence is like the tiredest photo cliche there even is.

However. I did go ahead and make one more to add to the huge body of similar images.

lunch rush

This place had a rack where the locals left their personal coffee cups for quick access to their morning caffeine. For some reason, that made me feel a little wistful, like somehow I was missing out by not having a regular coffee place.

It’s weird how things hit places you don’t even know exist…

Perhaps a different, more legible, font would have been a strong decision.
