As appealing as this place seems when you drive by, and as much as you’re likely to start thinking about a vacation to Vega so you can stay here for a while, the fact is that the Vega Motel is closed.

at the fold

I know this building doesn’t *really* have a fold in it. I know it used to have big plate glass windows that met at the thin frame in the corner. But now that the glass is gone, it sort of felt like a fold when I was standing inside of it looking out.
