Bonus Post – Lubbock Artist Studio Tour
Those of you who live in Lubbock may have already stopped by my place as part of the local arts alliance’s local Studio Tour event – I’ve been one of the host studios since 2015. The rest of you? Sorry.
This year, though, the event has gone virtual, which will give all of you a chance to drop by! On Saturday and Sunday (November 14 and 15) this link will be active and you’ll be able to see information on all 19 participating artists. You’ll be able to see what my studio/workspace looks like, read my artist statement and bio, and have contact information in case you want to make a purchase.
All of us who are participating in this first-ever virtual Studio Tour would appreciate a few minutes of your time. And, of course, art does make lovely gifts….

Collision Course
Maybe you didn’t know that I got my start as a photographer when I spent a decade shooting roadside crosses. I tried to stop at as many as I could and then, one day, I was done. I still notice them but rarely stop. This one, though, caught my attention the other morning.

PS: The only place the roadside cross work currently exists is on this old blog.
