that’s a restrictive parking requirement

I decided to believe this sign meant only ranchers are supposed to park here.

So OF COURSE I that’s exactly where I decided to stop, mostly because there is no way that my vehicle could have been mistaken for a ranch vehicle. (And also because it made me laugh.)

I was able to get the photo and leave town before anything bad happened. It was my lucky day.

There are a lot of restaurants in Lubbock. A lot. There are also a lot of failed restaurants, like this place.

If you ever find yourself in Wilson, Texas, and you’re having car trouble, I don’t think that John’s Garage is going to be able to provide you any assistance.

My advice: find another town and have car trouble there.

The last time I’d been here, the door was still attached to the building.

But now! Now, it’s on the ground with the glass intact, which gave me a nice reflection of the building.

(Just one more reason to revisit the same location.)
