never not creepy

I guess this could be considered a win? Two creepy dolls in one shop window?

But, seriously, the one on the bottom left…I am pretty sure her eyes are STILL following me, and it’s been 36 days since I made the photo.

It’s starting to feel less and less like a win.

Tire + Appliance

This isn’t the first time that I’ve noticed a store window display full of giant dresses. It’s also not the first time the reflection from across the street has added to the scene. And it’s also not the first time I’ve photographed it.

Relegated

All the cemetery trash – faded plastic flowers, dead real ones, a surprising number of beer cans, and pieces of tumbleweeds – has been relegated to a cage at the back.

It was just a matter of time

With various dollar stores all over the place, it was just a matter of time until two of them ended up as shopping center neighbors.

I sort of imagine the two store managers standing in the parking lot hurling insults at each other and was a little sad that was not happening when I was there…

Varied Menu Options

If you can get to town before this place closes (we didn’t make it because *someone* had to stop too many times to make photos), there is a wide variety of menu options to choose from. I would have probably ordered up a snow cone to go with my steak – I’ll have to leave Lubbock earlier the next time, I guess.
