I’ve been busy for a while doing other photography stuff, and this was the first day in a while that I’ve been able to get back to my old-school methods of wandering around rural towns. It felt good.

And it felt especially good when I turned down an alley and saw three orange cones ahead of me. (It really is the small things…)

Did you notice how I posted a photo with the number 3 right there and it’s the third day of February?

And did you think, “Oh, my, look how terribly organized she is, posting a 3 on the 3rd!”?

Let me assure you that it was definitely not planned. Nope. Not one bit. I am sorry for the vast disappointment you must be feeling right now. Tomorrow’s photo wasn’t strategically planned either so now would be a good time to start managing those expectations.
