Sunset Angels

I live on the very western edge of the Central time zone, where a December 21 sunset is at 5:44 pm. I failed to account for Nashville’s location – in the very eastern edge of the same time zone – and was therefore surprised at the 4:36 sundown. It cut into my first afternoon of photographing the city. But it also let me see this cemetery sunset. So, really, it all worked out.

Isaack

I had dinner in this place last month. The server was surly and the food was (at best) marginal. But neither of those things mattered because of this wonderful sign. And the fact that even though it was dark outside and sign was not lighted made it even more perfect.

Giant

Those are some big damn feet, stomping all over downtown Chicago like that. It seems an extremely dangerous situation has developed. Please remain observant and take appropriate precautions.

restroom reflections

I can’t quite remember what is real and what’s a reflection, but I guess it doesn’t really matter. Which might make it sort of like Real Life, sometimes.
