There was just something compelling about the way those two billboards looked together. It was so compelling, in fact, that I made a series of turns to get back around to get the shot. But you probably assumed that part.

three miles
I’m not a marketing person, so maybe I’m missing something here. But this billboard doesn’t seem like it is the best way to entice weary travelers to leave the interstate and check in to the Holiday Inn Express. Even if the exit *is* only three miles away.

I really do like the contrast between the shiny lodging shown on the billboard and the raggedy building below it.
